In addition to the toll it can take on a woman’s body and the emotional dejection of multiple failed cycles, the financial burden placed on couples battling infertility cannot be overstated. The average cost of one-round of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in the United States is $12,500 not including medication costs, which can range from $1,000-$5,000 per round of IVF.
